  Mint is just about perfect and I’m considering skipping writing this and heading back now for more food. Absolutely grab a reservation if possible as we almost didn’t get a seat even though many tables were empty as they like to leave time for a long meal. Luckily the patio was open and fairly empty so were able to get a spot. The beer selection is pretty excellent which makes sense considering they call themselves a gastropub. It isn’t huge in terms of the drafts - though the bottle list is - but the offerings are fairly unique and delicious. The entire food menu is changed once or twice a year with the seasonal availability of ingredients. The octopus special really made the meal for me as t started things off with a tasty and somewhat spicy bang. The crispy exterior was an interesting take on octopus which I hadn’t had before, but the interior remained tender and chewy like octopus should be. The voodoo shrimp and grits were refreshingly spicy too with a great mix of texture from the creamy grits, the plump shrimp, and the crispy okra. The chicken mole was so good too with a delicious sweet and somewhat spicy mole sauce and perfectly moist and tender chicken breast. Service was super friendly and helpful with suggestions through all of the meal too.
