  Filet Mignon was poorly prepared and frankly the service the last two years we've gone there over the holidays hasn't been that great. Would not advise based on their prices.

  The food was good and the atmosphere was nice but the service was very poor. My date and I were seated without menus and then proceeded to sit there for another half an hour without service. Our food did not arrive until an hour and fifteen minutes after we sat down and the appetizer we ordered showed up after our main course.

  October 30, 2016: Last last few years, we have been celebrating our anniversary dinner at the Hotel Bethlehem and Bob is our waiter. Bob is super friendly, always remembers us, accommodating, and treats us like we're old friends. Since it was a Sunday evening, the restaurant was empty except for another couple. We picked a window seat with a few of the street.
  
  We had the oysters, butternut squash soup (which was amazing), the local lettuce with Scholl apples, and a pork chop in a wine demi-glace (also AMAZING) with mushroom risotto and Brussel sprouts. Each course that we had was better than the previous one. Dessert was also delicious.
  
  We had a wonderful time! Whether you're local or a visitor from afar, you should spend some time at the 1741 on the Terrace. Thanks Bob!

  We had a delightful anniversary meal in the Terrace room. Our waiter, Bob S., was professional and attentive to our needs. My lamb chops were cooked perfectly, as was the steak my husband enjoyed. It is a bit pricey, but worth a little extra for the ambiance and a great view of Main St. We will return!
